SOUTH END — Axios Charlotte reported this week that a new restaurant called something stupid is opening in South End, offering diners the ability to exchange legal U.S. currency for prepared food.
“We were inspired by cities like Atlanta and Austin, where people have been buying food for years,” said co-owner Brayden C. Brayden.
According to early reports, customers can look at a menu, choose what they want, and then pay for it.
This is a developing story.
